Xandar is a fictitious planet in the Andromeda galaxy, but the attraction blends real world celestial bodies with the science fiction found within Guardians of the Galaxy. The Xandarians chose EPCOT because Guardians member and native Terran, Peter Quill visited EPCOT as a child.

Inside, guests can explore the Wonders of Xandar and learn about their culture and the similarities that are shared with us on Terra (Earth). Representatives from the planet Xandar have setup the first “other worldly” pavilion inside EPCOT’s World Discovery neighborhood. His dialog is limited to the phrase “I am Groot.”

Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel in the movie, unknown voice in the attraction) – a sentient tree-like species known as a Flora colossus.

Rocket (voiced in the movie by Bradley Cooper, unknown voice in the attraction) – A genetically enhanced creature that resembles a Terran raccoon.

Drax (played by Dave Bautista) – Drax is “brutally honest” with extreme strength and combat skills.

Gamora (played by Zoe Saldana) – The adopted daughter of Thanos, Gamora is described as, “The deadliest woman in the whole galaxy.”.

He also visited EPCOT Center as a child and is the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Star Lord / Peter Quill (played by Chris Pratt) – Originally born on Earth, Quill was abducted as a child to join the Ravagers.

The five founding members of the Guardians of the Galaxy reprise their rolls in the attraction: The attraction is inspired by the 2014 Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy.
